Product Description
Home Shield Damp Shield is a water-based damp blocking exterior primer, formulated with special grade pigment and micro fibers that provides extra whiteness and opacity. It forms a tough film on the surface of the masonry, as a result provides longer life to the paint system and better top coat application.
Surface Preparation
- Remove dirt, chalk, grease, fungus and loose particles from the surface.
- Fill cracks and dents; allow putty or cement repairs to dry fully.
- Ensure masonry moisture content is below 12% before priming.
Directions for Application
- Dilute as recommended, strain the primer, then apply one full coat.
- Allow proper drying before the finish coat.
- Apply a second primer coat only if the surface needs extra sealing.

Special note
- Check moisture content stays below 12%.
- Ideal surface pH value is between 7 and 11.
Points to note
- Shake well before use.
- Do not over-dilute.
- Strain before application.
- Keep the container tightly closed after use.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- If product contacts eyes, rinse and seek medical help.
